This commissioned project showcases a custom 3D sphere created for Nexomic, an AI-driven biotechnology company advancing precision medicine through multi-omics analysis and deep learning models.

The sphere was fully modeled and animated in 3D using Blender, leveraging Geometry Nodes, a procedural approach that allows precise control over shape, structure, and complexity. Its mesh-like appearance illustrates the interconnection of biological systems and reflects Nexomic’s mission: integrating vast datasets spanning genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and more.
The animation added movement and depth to the concept. Subtle transformations, rotations, and surface deformations symbolize the dynamic processes of biological discovery and the continuous flow of data in AI-driven research.
This visual identity element has been integrated into Nexomic’s website by their team, taking center stage in the homepage, technology presentations, and narrative content. The sphere was also adapted for social media posts, communication materials, and other brand touchpoints, ensuring visual consistency and recognition.

From a creative standpoint, the challenge was to translate the abstract complexity of biotechnology and artificial intelligence into a form that is both scientific and approachable. The chosen aesthetic strikes a balance between minimalism and detail, avoiding visual overload while conveying a sense of sophistication.
Ultimately, the animated sphere has become more than a simple visual. It has emerged as a strong brand identity element. It reflects Nexomic’s spirit of innovation, its pursuit of precision, and the transformative potential of AI in biotechnology.
